Good questions, straight answers
How Fast Can You Get Here?
Do you charge more to come out faster?
No, the $0 Call Out Fee stays the same no matter when you ring, and Same Day Service never comes with a rush surcharge. Speed is part of how we work, not something extra you pay for.
How soon can someone be dispatched?
Once you're through, we work out what's happening and get someone moving as fast as the job needs, day or night. We don't give you a countdown, just an honest sense of where you sit in the queue.
Can you give me an honest timeframe when I call?
We'll always tell you honestly whether you're first in line or a little further back, rather than promising something we can't guarantee. Genuine emergencies, like burst pipes or gas smells, jump the queue every time.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes, we're open 24 hours, including weekends and public holidays, with a real person answering the phone every time. Plumbing emergencies don't wait for a weekday, so neither do we.

Your Questions About Price
Do prices change once the work starts?
No, the fair, upfront price you're given before we start is the price for that job, not a placeholder that shifts once we're underway. You'll know exactly what you're paying before any work begins.
What does Best Price Guaranteed actually mean?
Best Price Guaranteed means the price we give you is a fair one for the work involved, checked rather than inflated because it's urgent. It's a promise about honesty in the price, not a race to be the lowest price around.
How does the $65 off my first service offer work?
New customers get $65 off their first service with us, taken off the price once the job's done. It only applies to a first booking, so it's not something existing customers can use again on a later job.
Do you ever charge more once you're already on site?
Only if the scope of the job genuinely changes, like finding a second issue once a wall's opened up. Even then, we stop, explain what we've found, and agree a new price with you before touching anything further.

What's Different About Mascot
Does heavy rain cause extra problems in Mascot?
Some of Mascot's older streets, going back to before 1940, weren't built for today's stormwater volumes. Heavy rain can put more pressure on ageing pipework than the drainage was ever designed to handle.
Does Mascot's soil affect underground pipes?
Mascot sits on flat, low-lying ground close to the bay, and ground like that can shift a little with the seasons. Older pipework laid straight into it is worth checking every so often rather than waiting for a problem to show.
Do you get called to Mascot often?
Yes, this is one of the busier parts of our coverage, from the apartments near Mascot Central through to the older streets around the local oval. Plenty of our week is spent somewhere in this suburb.
Is stormwater flooding common in parts of Mascot?
A few pockets near Mascot Oval and the bay can be prone to stormwater build-up in a heavy downpour, especially where the drains are older. It's not universal across the suburb, but it's worth knowing if it affects your street.

Licensing and Responsibility
Do strata and body corporate properties need anything different?
Not really, the same licensed and insured team takes on strata jobs the same as any other property. We're happy to liaise directly with a strata manager or send paperwork through, whatever your building prefers.
What should I do first if I smell gas?
Switch nothing, light nothing, and get everyone clear of the house before doing anything else. If the smell is heavy, or if anyone feels unwell, dial triple zero straight away, then call us once you're safely outside.
How long does the Lifetime Labour Warranty last?
The Lifetime Labour Warranty covers our labour for the life of the repair, not just the first twelve months. There's no separate countdown or fine print that quietly ends the cover early.
Are your plumbers employees or subcontractors?
Everyone we send out works to the same licensed standard and follows the same process, whether the arrangement behind the scenes is direct employment or a trusted subcontractor. What matters on your end is that they're licensed, insured and accountable to us.
